for upscale retailers) with current traffic limitations and
narrow sidewalks.
Current scenery is bare and unattractive.

Continuous upheaval of Georgetown main streets will not be
accepted.
This renovation will be the last opportunity.
Competitive Disadvantage.
Other retail centers, most of which are outside of the District,
may provide more attractive streetscapes and better shopping
opportunities due to easier access.
