Goals

The Georgetown Partnership and Community need to be proactive and take a leadership (and not a “reactive”) position in managing
the City utility project.

• Better traffic, parking and loading conditions.


• Better balance of pedestrian and commuter needs.


• Improved scenery on M street and Wisconsin Avenue.


• Potentially wider sidewalks on M Street.

Objections should not become excuses for inactivity. They should point to solutions and the need for explanation, education, reassurance, balance and compromise.
